Train.....train
tickets to Lucknow. Arnav Singh Raizada is going to Lucknow via train. Aman
booked train tickets to Lucknow because Khushi didn't like the food on the
plane; where infact its because she's actually afraid of flying. Arnav takes us
through the time they were on a flight....how she kept saying Devi Maya's name,
kept asking him if they arrived and upon arrival (to a 7 star resort) rushed
straight to the kitchen to make jalebis. At this point, Arnav is still
surprised that Khushi and Payal are sisters; since Payal doesn't talk much at
all while Khushi....well she makes up for the two.
Arnav then gets a
visitor.....its Akash!!! The brothers are really happy to see each other. Akash
asks Arnav if he notices anything different about him. Arnav can't seem to
think of anything except Akash getting taller. Akash lets him know that Khushi
would have figured it out in a second but decides to help him out....he's no
longer wearing glasses. Arnav wonders if he took them off because Payal told
him to and Akash blushes slightly. Arnav teases him about being a "joru ka
gulam" after marriage but Akash soon turns the table on Arnav asking him
what he did after buying his car......Khushi broke a coconut and tied Devi
Maa's chunni to his rear mirror. Looks like marriage hasn't spared either
brother.
While catching up
over coffee, Arnav enquires about Payal, who's expecting her first child. Akash
says she's doing fine.....in fact she's due next month. Time seems to have
flown by for the two brothers and they reminisce how Akash professed his love
to Payal. Akash also tries to remember how Khushi convinced Mamiji to the union
but Arnav reveals to him that it wasn't because of Khushi that Mamiji agreed.
After playing to Mamiji's weakness and using the "deal" analogy,
Arnav was able to sway her to approve of the union.
Akash then gives
Arnav an anniversary present from him and Payal, with strict instructions that
he open it with Khushi. Just then, they both receive a Facebook update....from
Khushi. She's checked into a restaurant eating food she loves.....and Arnav
can't eat. As the brothers bid farewell to each other, Akash lets Arnav know
that Khushi has something important to discuss with him. Akash gives him a few
hints, leading Arnav to right answer....children. Arnav is surprise.....Khushi
wants to talk to him about children.
It's really great to see more and more faces of the
previous cast. Akash's return; in the flesh and not just in a flashback; was
really nice. The brothers continue to be close, despite being far apart (Akash
mentioned that his flight back was later that day). Arnav, Khushi, Payal and
Akash played major roles in each other lives, with each couple helping to bring
the other couple closer together. As Payal and Akash grew closer together
through kindness, love and understanding; Khushi and Arnav also grew close
through anger, disagreement and a lot of bickering. Either way, both pairs
ended up finding their happiness and soul mates. Some highlights:
- Arnav's reaction to Khushi wanting to talk about
children....epic!
- Arnav and Akash's awkward conversation about him no
longer wearing glasses....them coming in the way of being close or intimate
with their spouse. Akash's tease on Arnav was great.....though Arnav does seem
very possessive of his beard.
- Khushi is on Facebook!!! Now this should be fun.
