Advay corners Chandni and inquires on her whereabouts that afternoon. Chandni is in no mood to give him any answer and tells him that wherever she went is none of his business. In fact, she went with her fiance so it's technically none of his business. While Advay assumes Chandni was intimate with PP, Chandni continues to dodge his questions fearing he might find out about her going through his things at the guest house. Unfortunately, Advay's misunderstanding is starting to get the best of him and he's now demanding to know where she was. Chandni refuses to answer but brings up a good point: why does it bother him where she went?

Chandni and Meghna later go through the envelopes Chandni found and she ends up discovering some very important information. Elsewhere in the house, Shikha confronts Veer who has disguised himself as "Rajveer". She knows that he's lying about who he is and is only doing this to get back at her for putting him in jail. This hits a nerve with Veer as he remembers his mother in jail. He then removes his jacket and shirt to show her the "bruises" from the police beating. He then admits that because of what she did, he realized how his actions were hurting people and that she helped him become a changed person. He seems very sincere and Shikha seems to believe it but this guy is a prankster....it's all one big set up.

Advay is now occupied helping Shagun and Kajal prepare for the function later that night. As Kajal calls Advay "mysterious" Shagun recites a not so friendly poem. Advay retaliates with one of his own, hinting at her own affair and making her a bit nervous. We then see Shilpa with a special flashlight, shining the light on several male guests. The liquid she rubbed on Shagun's had can be detected by the light and this way they can find her mysterious lover. To their surprise, they discover that person is none other than Kajal's husband Ranjit. Advay is stunned. Not only does this family betray their friends, they betray their own family members too.

Just then, Chandni reveals to Advay that she visited his guest house and has discovered his real identity. Advay is about to admit that he's Dev when Chandni whips out a stack of passports. In the envelopes she found four passports, each with Advay's picture but a completely different name. At this point, she claims that he's nothing but a criminal who's using alternative identities. Advay realizes he's been caught (sort of) but definitely dodged a bullet since Chandni didn't discover the childhood photos. When he begins to put the pressure on her she gives him an ultimatum...leave their house or she'll call the police and reveal his real identity.

Later, Chandni and Indrani have a very sweet mother-daughter moment as she presents her with the same earnings she wore when her husband came to see her. Indrani gets emotional upon thinking of Chandni's departure and the two share an emotional hug. Shikha and Meghna arrive to lighten the mood, even having Shikha imitate Indrani in her serious mood. All four ladies have a good laugh but Indrani reminds Chandni that nothing should go wrong today. Chandni promises her that everything will be perfect as she's already planned for Advay's departure.
