EPISODE 29
Chandni is in no
mood to talk to Advay so instead he hands her an envelope. Inside it is a
wedding card; specifically their wedding card. He thought it'd be a romantic gesture
to give her the first card but she reminds him that this might work in London
but not in Allahabhad. She reminds him that she's marrying PP but Advay lets
her know that he will take part in the night's function with her...not PP. In
fact, he's so confident that he even lets her know that she herself will give
Advay permission to touch her and take part in the ritual. Just then, everyone is
distracted when PP breaks out into a crazy naagin dance. We find out that Murli
ended up feeding PP one of Shikha's bhaang laddoos and the effect is in full
force.

Later that evening,
everyone is dressed for the night's function. Unfortunately, PP is still
intoxicated from the bhaang but his mother states that he is still in good
shape to carry on. Shikha spots Veer and thanks him for sticking up for her. He
tells her that he is a "reformed" person and has learned from his
mistakes. As he boasts to the camera about fooling Shikha into thinking he's a
changed person, we finally get our first glimpse of Shikha. She's caught onto
his game and in fact is playing along with it to deal out her own punishment.
The ritual is now
underway. This wedding ritual requires the groom to carry the bride up the
stairs to a temple, while she holds a diya lamp in her hand. He cannot drop her
along the way and she cannot let the diya light go out either. As PP approaches
Chandni, Advay steps in to try to "assist" him but actually uses this
as an opportunity to inject him with a sedative. The sedative instantly takes
effect and PP passes out. Everyone is now shocked and confused as to what to do
now. Advay steps up and volunteers to take PP's place during the ritual, if
it's so important to complete. Chandni is against the whole thing until her
father suddenly interjects. He makes it clear that the ritual must be completed
since Chandni has already started it. She becomes emotional upon hearing her
father say her name and eventually agrees to conduct the ritual with Advay.
