Week of May 21 - 25, 2012 Review

The week starts off with Shyam continuing to bother Khushi in Arnav's absence.  We also see that Bubbly has decided to come clean to Aakash about all her misdeeds and then returns to boarding school.  Knowing that Khushi is upset and worried about Arnav, Anjali surprises her by getting her a ticket to go see him in London.  She is touched by the gesture and is happy to finally see him, in order to calm her nerves down.  However, on the way to the airport, she gets a suspicious call.  Back at the house, Anjali and Nani wonder if Khushi reached the airport safely and are shocked to see that she has returned to the house.  She makes up an excuse for her return and then goes to her room, recalling the phone call.  Arnav had not reached London.  He did not attend the meeting, check in to hotel and he did not even board the flight. 

With Khushi back home, Anjali tries to call up Arnav buts continuously gets worried as he is not picking up his phone.  Seeing this, Khushi pretends that Arnav has called her in order to calm Anjali down.  Her plan works, until her phone rings infront of Nani, exposing her plan.  She later reveals to Nani that she was faking the call because she did not want to worry Anjali.  She also reveals to Nani that Arnav did not arrive in London and the fact that he did not board his flight.  The two decide to keep this a secret in order to prevent everyone from getting worried but Masala Mama overhears the conversation and goes to tell Mami about it.  Masala Mama informs Mami of Khushi and Nani's conversation and Mami puts it together that Arnav is not in London.  Anjali overhears this and begins to panic.  By now, everyone in the house knows that Arnav is not in London and panic starts to set in.  They are about to call the police in order to locate Arnav when they get a phone call from Arnav.  He reveals that yes he is not in London as he had to go to Scotland for a last minute deal, which no one knows about.  Everyone speaks with him and Arnav asks Aakash to look after Anjali and Khushi.  Khushi finally gets to speak to Arnav but she is overcome with emotion and can't stop crying.  Arnav tells her to stop crying but she is overjoyed to hear his voice.  Finally, Arnav says something that completely shocks Khushi, "Khushi, I Love You".

Khushi is shocked to hear Arnav say "I Love You".  She returns to her room remembering the moments related to his confession, such as the Diwali scene and her engagement announcement.  When she returns to her room, she fantasizes a few moments with him.  However, she is brought out of her fantasy with the realization that he is not there.  We finally get to see where Arnav has been for so long.  He indeed has been kidnapped and held in a location at gun point.  After the kidnappers retie him and leave, he struggles to reach for his phone in order to call for help.  However, he is unable to reach his phone as he is binded to a chair.  Khushi suddenly realises that something is definitely wrong.  She fears that Arnav may be in some sort of danger as he would never say "I Love You" to anyone so easily if it didn't mean that he was in trouble.  To confirm her suspicions, she calls up the airport to enquire about the flights that left to Scotland that day.  Unfortunately, there were no flights that went to Scotland that day, confirming Khushi's fear that Arnav is not okay.  The next day, Khushi goes to the police to get help in locating Arnav.  However, when they say that they may have to come to the house to ask some questions, she fears that everyone may get to know about Arnav not being in Scotland and may begin to panic again.  Instead, she decides to search for him on her own.

On returning to the house, Khushi reads the newspaper and finds an ad about a detective agency.  She decides to use detectives in order to find Arnav.  She sets up an appointment to meet with the detectives and makes an excuse of going to the market to purchase things for her business in order to meet them.  Once there, she meets with them and informs them about her husband being missing.  They say they will help her find her husband for a payment of 20000 Rs a day.  Unable to afford to pay the detectives, Khushi leaves and decides to find another way to track Arnav down.  All the while, Khushi is being followed by someone.  Back at the house, Shyam continues to bother Khushi, even questioning her on why she cares and misses the one person who has caused her the most pain.  She tells Shyam to leave her alone and she reflects on what he said.  Mami comes by Khushi's room to ask her a few questions about her and Arnav's conversation the night before.  Khushi tells Mami that he said he is fine, (leaving out the I Love You part) and then leaves.  Khushi is left confused as to Mami's actions.

As Khushi waters Arnav's plants, she reflects on the most recent events.  She is determined to find Arnav at any cost.  Meanwhile, Aakash plans a nice quite dinner for him and Payal at the office instead of taking her out to dinner as he is swamped with work.  The next day at breakfast, Mami questions Khushi on where she went yesterday.  Khushi says that she went to the market to get some things for her business however, Mami tells everyone that she is lying.  Instead, Khushi went to a place in Chandi Chowk.  Before Mami can reveal that she went to a detective place, Khushi says that she went to a shop to get Arnav a gift.  Nani is upset that she lied but is happy at the fact that Khushi wanted to get Arnav something for when he returned.  Khushi later goes to Mami's room where she reveals to Mami that she was indeed right and did not go to any shop.  She reveals that she went to a detective agency in order to get help to locate Arnav.  Mami is now confused as to what Khushi is saying and Khushi tells Mami everything she knows.  No plane left from Delhi to Scotland that night, there is no deal in Scotland and that she fears something has happened to Arnav.  Not believing Khushi, Mami decides to conduct her own investigation to see if there is any truth to Khushi's story.  She begins calling up five star hotels in Scotland and begins looking on the web.  Khushi on the other hand returns to the airport in order to find clues that may lead to Arnav's disappearance.  She asks to see the security footage however, the man tells her that they cannot allow her to see the footage.
