Teri Meri Meri Teri Prem Kahani Hai Mushqil

Shyam is on the phone when Khushi comes back into the house.  She asks Shyam to come with her as she has to meet some lawyer about some papers and because he is a lawyer, he knows much more about this stuff.  He goes with her and makes an excuse to Anjali that he has to meet a client.  As Shyam and Khushi leaves, Anjali see them together and wonders what they are doing together.  They reach the office and the lawyer gives Khushi the papers.  She hesitantly signs them while Shyam says to himself that she passed her first test.  On the roadside where they stopped, Shyam attempts to talk to Khushi.  She again reveals that she hates Arnav and what he has done to her life.  She ends up telling Shyam about Arnav's phone call but does not disclose what he said.  Shyam confesses his love for Khushi who turns around and walks away.  Back in Khushi's room, NK comes in and asks her what has happened.  She tells him that she told Shyam everything she could as she was left with no choice.  It goes into a flashback of NK and Khushi's plan; asking for the money, getting Shyam to follow and suspect her, etc.  She then informs NK about the papers she had to sign and the phone call she got from Arnav.  She realized that both were Shyam's test and she feels that she passed both of them.  Shyam by the poolside remembering his conversation with Khushi.  He promises that Arnav will not be in Khushi's life as he will be the one fulfilling each of her dreams.  Arnav begins to miss Khushi more and more that he ends up dreaming of her.  He dreams of the two together to the song of "Teri Meri".  Arnav realizes its and dream and calls out to her, which she senses.

Kya kar diya Khushi tumne mere saath?

 Arnav and Khushi begin to sense each other.  They then begin to have a telepathic conversation with each other, knowing and feeling what the other person is saying.  Arnav admits that he tried a lot to hate Khushi but his heart just wouldn't let him do that, while Khushi admits that she tried her hardest to not fall in love with him.  He also admits that she has, in some way, changed him (believing his parents are stars).  In the process of the conversation, they admit their feelings for one another while at the same time forgiving each other.  As Khushi is sleeping, the lights go out and she gets scared.  She gets up to see Shyam coming into her room, bring a candle with him.  As she takes the candle, he tries to touch her but she avoids him.  Once he leaves, NK enters her room as he saw Shyam leaving and wanted to know if everything was okay.  She says she is disgusted at the way he tries to touch her.  NK is confused as to what she said and when he questions her about it, she brushes off the conversation.  The next day, Akash tells Payal about another office party but she refuses to go.  She then calls up her Buaji to inform her of what she did.  Shyam is then seen speaking to the kidnapper over the phone.  As he turns, he sees Khushi standing at the door as she brought kheer for Anjali.  He asks her to feed him a spoon of it and just as she is about to, Anjali walks in.  Khushi quickly hands Anjali the kheer and proceeds out of the room.  Payal is at Buaji's house where Buaji is telling Payal the ways in which to win a man's heart.  Khushi informs NK of the fact that Shyam is going to go meet someone, possible giving them money.  They both decide to follow him as she suspects that he is most likely going to go meet the kidnapper.

Follow the snake

As NK and Khushi follow Shyam's car, Shyam notices a Razaida car following him.  He calls up Khushi's phone who is hesitant to answer it.  When she does, she makes that excuse that she is at home with Nani.  However, at that time, a car horn is heard and her phone gets disconnected.  NK finds Shyam parking his car at a place and then walking in and out of that place.  Khushi quickly returns home where she bumps into Nani.  After hearing the door bell ring, Khushi takes Nani with her, saying she needs to talk to her.  Shyam enters the RM talking on his phone saying that the money delivery will be late.  As he walks up the stairs, he sees and hears Khushi and Nani having a conversation.  All the while, Khushi notices this.  NK and Khushi talk about how Shyam parked his car at a certain area but never returned to pick it up.  She also informs NK that she knew Shyam would return home to see if she was actually home or not as his is a very cunning and observant person.  During their conversation, Khushi wonders whether she is asking the wrong questions.  They know the who, what and when of the kidnapping but they don't know the why; the reason why Shyam kidnapped Arnav.  Khushi and NK talk about ways to figure out Shyam's motive in order to figure out where Arnav might be.  When Khushi mentions about Shyam withdrawing 5 lakhs, NK comes up with a plan.  The next morning, Payal puts Buaji's tips on winning a man's heart to work.  She first tries to impress Akash with her eyes but instead, he thinks there might be a problem with her eyes.  NK goes into Shyam's room and asks to borrow his laptop as he wants to chat with his online friend and Shyam allows him to do so.  At the breakfast table, Nani inquires Khushi on when Arnav will be back as they have only spoken to him once and the fact that this trip was suppose to be short.  Nani wishes to speak to Arnav and Mami tries to hint at the fact that something may be wrong with Arnav.  When Khushi says she spoke to Arnav in the morning, Nani asks her whether or not she asked him when he plans on returning.

Don't open that box and no one gets hurt

Shyam tells Nani not to worry as Arnav may be held up in some work.  NK brings Shyam's laptop downstairs and Shyam leaves for work.  Khushi goes to Mami to calm her down.  She tells her not to worry as her and NK are trying their best to find Arnav.  However, Mami vows to still be part of the investigation one way or the other.  Back at the warehouse, the kidnapper receive a call from Shyam telling him to buy some stuff from the market and parcel them to the Raizaida house.  Once he leaves, Arnav finds a food order bill and realizes that this restaurant must be somewhere nearby. Arnav tries his best to get out, knowing that none of the other men are there at the moment but is forced to retreat when he hears the kidnapper returning.  Arnav then fakes a low sugar level in order to distract the kidnapper.  While the kidnapper searches for something sweet for him, Arnav quickly writes a note, that Khushi would only understand, on the back of the food bill and then slips it into the parcel.  He hopes for Khushi to find it, making it easier for her to find him.  Khushi and NK look through the bank statements and are unable to find any new information.  NK then tells Khushi about how mad Shyam got about water falling on his necklace.  They both suspect that the necklace must have some connection to this whole mystery.  Meanwhile, Payal puts jasmine oil in her hair to impress Akash but unfortunately, he is allergic to it and decides to sleep elsewhere.  Khushi goes to Shyam's room and makes an excuse of tying a raksha daga on him in order to release the other locket.  She is able to release the locket and switches it for a fake. 

Idea!!

After she switches the locket, she leaves the room and sees that he places the locket on a key chain.  NK and Khushi are praying to Devi Mayya.  NK tells her again to not worry as Devi Mayya knows that everything she is doing is for Arnav's sake.  They both then try to open up the locket with no luck.  Angry that she probably wasted her time, Khushi throws the locket onto the floor and it opens up.  NK sees that its a pen drive (USB key) and hurries off to get his laptop.  NK and Khushi try to access the pen drive and realize that it's password protected.  They give the password a few tries with no luck and soon realize they are down to their last try before the file become permanently locked.  They decide to return the pen drive before Shyam notices its gone so Khushi decides to distract Shyam while NK switches the two lockets again.  While switching the lockets, NK gets an idea on how to retrieve Shyam's password.  Once done, NK interrupts Shyam and Khushi's conversation in order to inform her that the job is done.  The next day, "Arnav's parcel" arrives at the house.  Nani is surprised and happy about it, while NK, Khushi and Mami are all shocked and stunned.  As Nani distributes the gifts, the other 3 wonder what is going on.  In her room, Khushi throws the gifts on the bed and informs NK that both he and she know these gifts are not from Arnav.  Mami enters in saying that these gifts are from the kidnappers.  Mami is upset as she feels that she is no longer part of the investigation and that no progress has been made.  Khushi tries to comfort Mami and tells her that as soon as they find out anything, they will inform her.
