EPISODE 5

The feast for the priests is underway. All of a sudden, a crowd shows up at the house making a ruckus. As Chandni goes to see what the cause is, they tell her she needs to pay for the goods she bought for the feast. She's confused as she paid in full for the goods but the crowd denies her claim. They threaten to stop the feast and take their goods back and that's when Indrani steps in. She slaps a man who dares to call her by her name and challenges anyone from the crowd to enter the house beyond her.

Just then, Chandni receives a call from Advay who taunts her about the drama going on at her house. He tells her to meet him on the terrace of her house and he'll help get rid of the crowd. Wanting to do anything to get rid of them, she agrees to meet him. Advay immediately calls one of the men in the crowd and it's their signal to leave. Once they leave, the rest of the family returns to attend to the priests. Chandni spots Advay standing by the doorway and when no one is looking, proceeds to go to the terrace. Advay follows right behind, making sure no one is watching them.

On the terrace, Chandni questions Advay to see what he wants but he again proceeds to taunt her. He tells her that he knows her very well which scares Chandni since she's certain they've never met. He warns her that this is just the start and that there are many more "games" awaiting her. Trying to be a "gentlemen", he tells her that she shouldn't go back downstairs by herself and offers to "drop her downstairs". As he takes hold of her hand, Chandni immediately backs away, pulling her hand back and telling him not to touch her. As she makes her way down the stairs, Advay purposely trips her and then saves her from the fall.

Just then, the entire family and the priests notice them on the staircase and wonder what is going on. As Chandni rushes to her mother's side, Advay is questioned by her uncle. He tells them he was on the terrace and that it was specifically Chandni who invited him there. As he leaves, he reminds Chandni of the "truth always being the truth" and walks out like nothing happened. After the feast has wrapped up, Chandni's family begins to question what was happening between her and Advay, even going as far as to question her character. Indrani sticks up for her daughter and tells everyone that the fear and silence Chandni displayed proved that nothing bad happened and she fully 100% trusts her.

Later in the evening, Chandni and Advay are both staring at the moon in the sky. Chandni flashes back to the few times she's bumped into Advay and tries to figure him out. On the other hand, Advay is full of anger, hurt and emotion as he recites a very deep and moving poem that depicts what he's feeling. Through this poem, it's certain he feels a lot of hatred, anger and betrayal from his childhood friend.
