EPISODE 7

Outside the mandir doors, Indrani announces that Chandni will first do the maha aarti, after which the process to open then mandir doors will commence. She invites all to attend the aarti. As Chandni, Meghna and Shikha walk through the market, Advay is seen on his phone ordering someone the "go-ahead". Just then, posters of Chandni in Advay's arms (when he protected her from falling the previous night) start to appear. More and more posters are revealed covering the market. The crowd gathers and begin to gossip about Chandni and her "character", even bringing up her kidnapping a year ago. Unable to hear anymore, Chandni leaves the market. As she runs away, she bumps into Advay who again promises that there is more to come.

Back at the mansion, the maha aarti is about to begin. Shikha informs Indrani of Chandni's current state and is visibly worried as she must do the maha aarti. As Chandni runs into the forest, the taunts, the crowd's gossip and the traumatic events of the previous year continue to play in her head. She doesn't feel like she has the strength to face anyone at the moment and will most likely not be doing the aarti. Just then, she remembers Dev and his advice: if she's ever afraid of anything, close her eyes and take his name. He promises that she'll be able to conquer any obstacle as he'll be sending her strength.

We then flash to a small house, and begin to get a glimpse into Mikku's life. For starters, his mother calls him Veer and dotes on him tremendously, wishing for nothing bad to happen to her son. For Mikku, we learn he's a bit of a ladies man and is an internet sensation; otherwise known as a YouTuber. To produce his next show, he asks his mom for 1 lakh. When she refuses to give him the money, he puts on an act and pretends to stab himself. When she realizes it's all an act, she begins to scold him. His mom makes him promise to not pull another stunt like this again as he is her world and she wouldn't know what to do without him. He apologizes and we see the strong bond between mother and son.

As Chandni's family wonder's if she'll show up, Advay is confident that she won't be there in 30 seconds, or 30 years. Just then, Chandni walks through the doors, shocking everyone especially Advay. She tells the priests that she's ready to perform the maha aarti. During the aarti, Advay is shocked to see the strength in Chandni; being able to have the courage to face everyone after what just happens. As he begins to leave, she calls out for him to stop.

While the crowd continues to gossip, she presents the aarti tray to him; telling him that leaving without seeking blessing first is not a good sign. Advay puts his hand over the flame and congratulates her on this win, proving that he wasn't successful in stopping her from performing the maha aarti. She notices his hand hasn't moved from the flame and points it out to him. His response "you can't set fire to a fire". Powerful, moving and very telling. He thought she was a delicate piece of glass that would crack easy but unfortunately he was wrong and lets her know that he's going to have some fun trying to get her to crack. As he leaves the house, Chandni is left confused.
