EPISODE 3
As the young fellow
walks through the crowd whistling, Advay recognizes the tune and is reminded of
his brother. A brother that he had to abandon (by tossing him off the train to
safety) after their parents were killed. He calls out "Mikku" and the
young fellow turns around but cannot find the person who called out to him.
Unable to locate anyone, Advay feels it's his own hallucinations reminding him
of his brother but vows to find him again.
Meanwhile, Shagun
and Kajal are giving offerings to the children on the temple ground. Kajal
accidently gifts her ring to one of the kids and attempts to take it back.
Indrani comes to resolve the situation and successful (and sneakily) retrieves
the ring from the child and returns it to Kajal.
Mikku is seen
having chai and biscuits with a street vendor, talking about how someone just
called out to him. He then notices Advay, the guy he helped save the statue
with, and decides to chat with him. He attempts to form a bond/friendship with
Advay based on the fact that they both just saved a statue but Advay is clearly
annoyed and wants nothing to do with him. As he walks away, Mikku calls him an
"angry young man". Little does
Advay know, he's just had his first encounter with his now grown up little
brother.
We then see Chandni
explaining something in hindi to a group of foreigners. Advay notices this and
begins to taunt her and the foreigners will not understand her. She repeats
everything again in hindi and in English, surprising him. He thinks this is a
new version of herself and she wonders why he thinks that when they've never
met. During their conversation, she accidently says "tum" to which he
gets upset and reminds her that she must address elders as "aap".
She's quickly reminded of Dev upon hearing that but swears this is the first
time they've met. Advay however promises that they will meet again.
As Indrani, Shagun
and Kajal are standing around, a random kid places a small box in their hands.
Inside the box is a threatening notes; pertaining to past events. According to
the note, in three days time; during the maha aarti; is when they will strike.
Advay notices they're stressed and is curious as to why.
Later that evening,
Chandni is walking through the grounds supervised by bodyguards. After Advay
"makes the bodyguards disappear", he purposely sets her dupatta on
fire and then comes to put it out. As he puts a jacket around her, she faints
and he carries her over to a bench. He states that he won't be fooled by her
innocence anymore and vows to take everything she loves dearly away from her.
