Akash returns home
from Mumbai and Mami is asking how his trip went. Payal goes to pick up his bag when he tells
her to leave it. In the living room, NK
meets up with Akash and is happy to see him back. Just then, Arnav and Khushi also return
home. Mami asks Khushi why she came back
so soon and even suggest that Payal make a trip to her maternal home. Khushi tells her that Buaji is okay now and
Nani even confirms this information too.
NK then tells everyone that for this year's RakshaBandhan, they should
do something special for Anjali. Before
he can give any ideas, Arnav tells him that he already has an idea and
leaves. Khushi asks Nani as to where
Anjali is and she tells her that she is in her room. Khushi goes to Anjlai's room and give her a
Raksha Daga that Buaji got for her to protect her and her child. Anjali takes it from Khushi stating that she
will tie it herself. When Khushi states
that she hopes her brothers do something special for her this Rakshabandhan,
Anajli tells her that she doesn't want them to do anything special. The only thing she wants is for her brothers,
especially Arnav, to spend some time with her. Khushi returns to her room to help HP put
away clothes that fell from the cupboard.
On seeing the unworn kurtas, Khushi has an idea. Akash and NK are packing presents when Arnav
comes in announcing that he bought jewelry sets for Anjali. Khushi tells the guys to get dress and pulls
NK aside. She tells him that she had an
idea that will make Anjali very happy but will need his help in convincing
Arnav. NK goes to Arnav and tells him
the way in which he can make Anjali happy today. The family then prepares for the Rakhi
ceremony. Nani and Anjali come down the
stairs and she asks Nani on why it is so dark.
When the lights come on, she sees the place is decorated.
Mami tells her that
there is more to come and she sees NK and Akash come down in kurtas. They wish her a happy Rakshabandhan and NK
tells her that there is one more surprise.
She looks up and is shocked at what she sees: Arnav coming down dressed
in a kurta. Everyone is shocked at his
attire and Anjali wonders if it really is him in the outfit. Everyone is staring at him but Anjali is
extremely happy to see him in the kurta she gifted to him.
The family then
proceeds to the rakhi tying ceremony, where Anjali ties the rakhis on NK, Akash
and Arnav. Each of them wish her a happy
Rakhi and gift her a present. Anjali
tells them she will cherish these pictures forever. As the family mingles, Anjali gets a phone
call and begins to worry. Arnav is in
his room attempting to take off his kurta.
He tells HP to send Khushi to the room.
Khushi says she will be there once she's given Anjali something. As she goes to her room, Anjali is nowhere to
be found. She tries to call her but she
left her phone there and Khushi begins to search the house for her.
What worked: Happiness
returning to the house. It was really
nice to see the entire family come together to celebrate Rakhi, with no
hostility against each other. An
occasion like this shows us that no matter what is going on between the family
and its members, festivals like these can bring people together.
What didn't work:
The tension between Payal and Akash. It
seems that there is still some tension between the two. Payal and Akash have agreed to start afresh
again after the Shyam incident but I'm not getting that vibe from Akash. His actions show him a bit distant from Payal
at times but then there are times when they are talking. It's hard to tell what is going on with them
right now.
Highlight:
Seeing Arnav in the white kurta. Other
then the Heer-Ranjha incident, this is the only other time Arnav has worn
something other than a suit or casual clothing and he looked absolutely
breathtaking. This simple gesture put a
huge smile on his sister face that was absolutely priceless. This goes to show that Arnav does not need to
buy expensive gifts or do anything fancy to put a smile on someone's face. The simple things really work. Not only did he put a smile on Anjali's face
and left his family stunned, but he also left the audience speechless.
