Episode Recap: September 12th, 2012

At the Gupta house in the morning, Khushi is eating jelebis and thinking about how she didn't pick up his call the night before.  She complains to Devi Mayya about what Arnav said and states that what he said was not wrong.  She calls him up, pretending to be Buaji but he recognizes her voice and hangs up on her.  She then sends a text message to him saying she's sorry and waits for his answer as she continues to eat jelebis.  Just as she is about to call him up again, the home phone rings.  Thinking its him calling, she lets the phone ring for a while before answering it.  When she answers it, Mami is on the other end but Khushi thinks that Arnav might have gotten her to call her up.  However, Mami actually wants to speak to Buaji.  Anjali goes to speak to Arnav and tells him that she is happier and healthier since Shyam has returned.  On hearing this, Arnav gets angry but Anjali ends up calming him down.  She knows that he is angry at Khushi for going against him but explains to him that whatever she did, she did for Anjali's health.  She tells Arnav that Khushi knows that if Anjali is unhappy, Arnav will be tensed until she is happy again.  Nani comes in and agrees with everything Anjali said and they then leave the room, leaving Arnav to think.  As they head down the stairs, the run into Mami and NK who are going upstairs.  They have a plan to reunite the two using reverse psychology.  Mami goes to Arnav's room and tells him that because he fought with Khushi, the wedding is off.  She then proceeds to walk around him with two coconuts, chanting weird words.  When he asks her what she is doing, she tells him that it is a ritual and must be done to break off the wedding.  She then hits him on the head with the coconut and tells him to do the same to Khushi.  NK then comes in stating that Khushi has arrived as well with Buaji and Arnav goes to see if this is true.  As he comes down the stairs, he sees Khushi, who is still mad at him.  After seeing the coconut in Buaji's tray, Arnav asks her what she thinks she's doing.  He states to everyone that he never called off the wedding, shocking the family members.  When Akash tells him about the decorations being removed, Arnav tries to explain what he meant by that.  Soon enough, the entire family begins to laugh and Arnav realizes he was being pranked.  Khushi goes with Anjali and Arnav tells the family to continue with the wedding preparations.  NK then tells him to apologize to Khushi and the entire family wonders if this will happen, with Khushi uttering under her breath, that the Laad Governor would never apologize.  Later in the day, Arnav tells NK to tell Khushi to come to the poolside to meet him.  NK conveys his message but Khushi refuses to go.  She tells him to tell Arnav that she is not his slave nor is confined to his anger.

NK relays Khushi's message and he begins to give a response when NK calls Khushi on her phone.  He hands the phone to Arnav, telling him to talk to Khushi himself.  Instead of talking, the two just stare at each other.  NK states that not only is love blind, but it also causes people to become a bit stupid too.  Arnav says nothing to her and returns to his room.  Just then, Khushi gets a phone call from Aman who tells her that he has been trying to reach Arnav for a long time but can't get in touch with him.  He tells her that the deal he was worried about has not gone through.

Khushi is now worried about his work but then asks Aman why he told her.  He asks her to relay the information to Arnav as fast as possible.  Khushi goes to Arnav's room and conveys Aman's message.  Arnav however, doesn't seem to be affected by the news and Khushi decides to leave, since he didn't even say thank you.  He stops her from leaving by grabbing her arm.  He pins her behind the door and tells Aman that the deal came through as Khushi came upstairs.  Shocked at his plan, Khushi tells him that he deceived her and that what he did was not right.  He tells her that she wouldn't have come if he asked nicely and she replies yes.  She tells him that she's mad at him because he hung up on her and that he hurt her.  She ends up backing him against a wall and he tells her he's sorry.
