Arnav removes his
hand from a sleeping Khushi and begins to wonder the house, thinking about the
good times he spent with his sister. He
walks into her room to not find her there.
Worried as to where she is, he begins to search for her to find her
sleeping in Nani's room. Nani approaches
Arnav and reassures him that Anjali has taken her medicine and has just fallen
asleep. She encourages Arnav to also get
some rest. Khushi finds Arnav sitting on
the stairs, just thinking. Concerned for
her husband, she approaches him and rests her head on his shoulder. Their eyes have an interlocking moment and he
places his hand on her hand assuring her that he is ok. Nani notices that Anjali is awake and
crying. As Khushi enters the room to
talk to her, Anjali closes her eyes, pretending to be asleep. When she leaves, Anjali opens her eyes in
tears. Nani then approaches Arnav and
asks to speak to both Arnav and Khushi.
She questions him on everything that happened earlier that day as she
still does not understand how Shyam would be capable of anything like that. Arnav informs Nani that he knew about Shyam's
true colours the day of Payal and Akash wedding. He flashes back to the terrace scene and then
to the conversation he had with Shyam.
Arnav then states that he committed the biggest mistake in his life when
he did not believe Khushi and thought she was in on Shyam's plan. He states that Shyam always had evil
intentions and everything he did for the family was to win everyone's
hearts. Nani asks Khushi to stay away
from Anjali for a few days as seeing her would cause Anjali to remember
everything that happened. Payal attempts
to talk to Akash again but again, he is in no mood to talk to her. He is upset that she kept such a big truth
from him and that she went back on their promise to each other. The next day, Arnav goes to Anjali to feed
her, reciting their poem. She doesn't
respond back to him and he leaves when he gets a call. Khushi notices Arnav by the poolside and
takes his medication to him. He informs
her that he is going out for a quick job and Khushi tells him that she won't
let him leave until he takes his medication.
As she leaves, they both bump into each other. As she goes the other way, he too goes that
way. Arnav then playfully blocks her way
as she tries to leave, which puts a smile on her face.
What worked: The
guilt and sadness amongst the family members.
The Raizada family is currently in a state of shock as each person tries
to deal with the grief. Guilt has begun
to set with Arnav and Khushi, with each of them wanting to comfort the other. The
guilt and sadness with the family members truly shows how much Shyam was part
of their lives. They believed him,
trusted him and loved him blindly while all this time, he was sneaking around
behind their backs. The pain depicted
for each character was displayed perfectly.
What didn't work:
N/A
Highlight: Arnav's
naughtiness. We have the return of Arnav's romantic, naughty side and it
couldn't have come at a better time. This scene reminded us all of the Arnav
and Khushi pre-marriage, pre-misunderstandings.
It brings back the good old times and shows us why we all fell in love
with the couple. Since his return, Arnav
has not been able to spend time with his wife, with all the drama going on in
the house. Anytime he gets to spend with
his wife, he makes the most of it, even if it means returning to a more flirtatious
side.
